Senera 2026.38

Reach the workers who have no email address.

Most of the people who need your training do not have a company email address. Until now the platform quietly assumed they did. This release removes that assumption end to end: a worker can be added with nothing but a mobile number, be assigned training, and sign in from the text — no email, no password, no app.

Add a worker with only a mobile number

The invite form now accepts an email address OR a mobile. Give it a mobile and no invite email is sent, because there is nowhere to send one — the worker is reached by text instead. Bulk paste handles a mixed list, some with addresses and some without.

  • Email is no longer required to create a worker.
  • Paste a mixed roster — the ones with addresses get email, the ones without get text.
  • The form records your organisation's attestation that you hold the worker's agreement to be texted, at the moment you add them.
  • Nothing is sent to anybody until that agreement is on file.

Assigned training arrives as a text, with a link that just works

Assigning a course to a worker who is reached by text now sends them a short link. Tapping it opens a page that signs them in and takes them straight to the training.

  • The link is short, to keep the message inside one billable segment.
  • It opens a page that asks them to start — one tap, then they are in.
  • It works once and lasts 24 hours.
  • They stay signed in afterwards, so closing the phone between two modules does not lock them out.

Sign in with a code

For anyone who has lost their link or never had a password, the sign-in page now offers a six-digit code. It goes to their email by default, or by text for organisations set up for it.

  • No password needed, and nothing to install.
  • The code lasts ten minutes and works once.
  • The page never reveals whether an address or number belongs to an account.

Messages that go out on a schedule

Workforce messages can now be scheduled ahead, and set to repeat — so a weekly safety reminder is arranged once rather than remembered every week.

  • Pick a send time instead of sending now.
  • Set a message to repeat.
  • Messages respect your organisation's working-hours window.

Per-worker contact settings

  • Every worker card has a Contact tab showing the number on file, how it was confirmed, and when.
  • Choose how an individual worker is reached — email, text, or the default.
  • The default is sensible on its own: email if they have one, otherwise text.

Smaller things

  • Inviting somebody who is already a member now says so and offers to change their role, instead of failing.
  • The sign-in page gives the passwordless option room of its own.
  • Clearer wording throughout the invite and contact screens.
