Senera 2026.31

A new home, and the hardest security pass we have done.

The largest release in the platform's history: Senera and Connexus moved onto a new, properly separated Azure estate, and we ran the most thorough security and correctness pass we have ever done — including two assessment-grading faults that could have made a result wrong.

Faster and steadier under load

Senera now runs on rebuilt infrastructure. You should notice it as a quicker start when you come back to the workspace, and steadier behaviour when a lot of your people are working at once.

  • A faster first response when you open the workspace after a quiet period.
  • Steadier performance when many workers are using the platform at the same time.
  • Changes reach you through a repeatable, independently verified process.

Assessment results you can rely on

Two faults could have produced a wrong result on an assessment. Both are fixed, and both are the kind of thing a readiness record cannot afford.

  • A translated quiz could mark the wrong answer correct. Grading is now tied to the original answer, whatever language the worker sees.
  • An incomplete submission consumed the assessment token, locking the worker out of their own attempt.
  • Duplicate course drafts could be created from a single action.
  • Assessment tokens no longer overflow their storage, which previously failed the save outright.

Security, in depth

A sustained hardening pass across both products — tenant isolation, session handling, secrets and public endpoints.

  • Independent verification that one customer's records cannot be reached from another's account.
  • Hardening of the endpoints that serve content to people without an account.
  • Sessions can now be revoked centrally, so signing out is enforced by the platform and not just by the browser.
  • Service-to-service access is authenticated across both products.
  • Credentials removed from every setup script, and response headers hardened platform-wide.
Accessibility and honesty in the interface — screenshot

Accessibility and honesty in the interface

Contrast, keyboard navigation and error copy across both Senera and Connexus.

  • WCAG AA contrast across both products — several brand colours were failing on the surfaces they were actually used on.
  • Skip links for keyboard and screen-reader navigation.
  • Error messages say what actually happened. A rate limit no longer reports itself as a permissions error.
  • Connexus shows an honest connection indicator and genuinely reconnects, instead of reporting all-clear while blind.

Connexus

  • Operations grids and the dashboard load their data again — several were rendering empty.
  • Real reconnection behaviour, with an optional shared backplane for multi-instance deployments.

Reliability

  • Sign-in is resilient to an email-service misconfiguration, which previously could take authentication down with it.
  • Administrator pages no longer hit rate limits during normal use.
  • Unknown URLs return a proper not-found, and the wrong request method returns the right error.
  • Custom-domain sign-in redirects resolve correctly behind our proxy.
